5 Year Limited Warranty

ComfortStat USA warrants to the original owner the ComfortStat thermostat product, excluding battery, to be free from defects in the workmanship or materials, under normal use and service for a period for five (5) years from the date of purchase by the consumer. If at any time during the warranty period, the product is defective or malfunctions, ComfortStat USA shall, at its option, repair or replace it.

The warranty does not cover:

Removal or re-installation costs
Damage due to neglect, misuse, or improper installation.
Damage caused by failure to follow installation and operating instructions.
Installations performed by any other than a certified or licensed heating & air conditioning or controls contractor.
Installation outside the USA or Canada
Damage or repairs required as a consequence of faulty installation or application.
Damage as a result of floods, fires, winds, lightning, accidents, corrosive atmosphere or other conditions beyond the control of ComfortStar USA.
Use of components or accessories not compatible with this unit.
Normal maintenance as described in the installation instructions.
Failure to function due to interruption and/or inadequate electrical service.

For warranty claims, you must contact your local installing heating & air conditioning contractor. Proof of the original date of purchase is required.

These warranties are in lieu of all other express warranties. All implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty. Some states and provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

ComfortStat USA shall in no event be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to extra utility expenses or damages to property. Some states and provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
